What weather can I expect out there?

I've taken the above and below average maximum temperature plots and wind roses directly from the BOM website. The northern most section of my route, up around Halls Creek, will be the hottest. After the first 3 weeks, conditions should cool down, but days will also get shorter. I'll become more dependent on my night-lighting and solar panel come June & July. Night time temperatures will get down towards freezing in the middle of winter. I have the right gear though, so I doubt the cold will bother me too much ;D

When cycle touring, you're never guaranteed a tail-wind when you really want one. At least these graphs show that on average I should have more assistance than head-wind. Are past stat's realible though? Who knows, I suppose I'll find out soon enough one way or another!
