Please take the time to check out my great sponsors. Without their support, this expedition would not be possible. Any other interest by potential sponsors is still welcome.

Speedway Cycles are a great bike shop established in Anchorage, Alaska. Their niche market is promoting snow riding out of Anchorage, but they also sell and service a great variety of other bikes. Make sure to look them up if you're in town, and check out the latest Alaksa Ultrasport action.
The new Fatback represents the pinnancle of adventure MTB'ing. Its constructed from full Titanium, so is very strong yet still light-weight, and also corrosion free. This is the perfect bike for my preferred "light and fast" expedition of epic proportions. It comes well shod with very light-weight but strong 70mm wide rims and 4" tyres.

Crosso have a reputation for light-weight, strong and fairly priced panniers. Made from the well proven Cordura 1500 fabric and utilising only steel hooks, these custom panniers provide the best balance between weight and durability for the tough desert terrain I'll be exposing them to.

An expedition like this needs publicity. What better way to promote your product or service than with a website. Leanne from Astrovisual has plenty of experience spanning a wide range of businesses. Make sure to check out her web portfolio to identify how a website can help your business.

At a tiny 250g, the SPOT tracker represents the ultimate in security for any adventure traveller. Family, friends and followers alike will always know exactly where you're at for peace of mind with access to an interactive google map. The tracker also sends your exact location in event of emergency and has secondary communication ability. So much, for so little weight. Now I feel safe

I've been a proud member of the MTB Dirt forum for three years now. There are more than 10,000 members. It's absolutely commendable that such a great bunch of people contribute so much to the MTB scene in SE Queensland. Make sure to check out this forum for the latest and greatest, and also to follow-up on chit-chat about my progress.
For the Riders provide excellent sales support and servicing, so I knew I was in good hands with these guys to help deck out my new 'fatty'. These guys have a passion for bikes, and are normally riding when they're not working themselves. FTR are very supportive to the local MTB scene, so make sure to check out their long-standing Annerley store, or new Browns Plains store.

Fiskars are the local agent for some great outdoor brands in Australia. They've supplied me with this highly efficient Brunton 12V solar charger, using the latest and greatest flexible CIGS thin film technology. Adequate (solar) power is imperative for my safety with reliable charging of my satellite phone, GPS, bike lights and camera. Check out how their broad range of out-door products can keep you safe, and make your life easier.

Ford Engineering fabricated the pannier racks and light-weight structural members for my unique single-wheel "Extrawheel-type" trailer. I've worked alongside Cairan & Trev for 7 years now so have full confidence in their quality worksmanship. Their business is mechanical process and structural installations, predominantly servicing the food industry. Don't hesitate to give them a call. Cairan: 0416 053 639, Trefor: 0411 474 970

Terry Clarke got back to me quicker than a horde of bush flies descending on an Aussie meat pie when he noticed this event targets to raise funds for the RFDS. Terry sees better than most the great work the RFDS do in his line of work, so he's kindly offered use of an iridium sat-phone for the duration of my expedition. Please make sure to check out Terry's website if you're in need of a sat-phone or remote communications services.

Suunto is a leading designer of sports watches for training, diving, climbing and numerous other outdoor sports. No other watch / bike computer seems to be up to the rigours I dish out on my adventures, so I've opted for the hardiest watch on the market. The Suunto t6c and bike POD will be invaluable for navigation checks (distance and altitude), managing exertion with heart rate data at my finger-tips, waking me for night riding, and timing my arrival into Wiluna for a beer before closing.

Mont is an Australian company specializing in clothing, tents, sleeping bags and other accessories for your outdoor adventures. I've used their sleeping bags for over 10 years for mountaineering in temperatures down to -85F in the heart of Alaska, so I can personally vouch for their quality and versatility. I'll also be using their light-weight single-person Moondance-1 tent for this expedition. Check out their full range for what best suits your outdoor needs by double-clicking the logo above.

Extrawheel make the worlds lightest single-wheel trailer. I have used their classic trailer for a ride across Australia averaging 200km/day. It was great, so fast, and now they have an even lighter version, the Voyager. For this expedition, I will use their patented 4" trailer fork for my own trailer/bike combination built to carry up to 80lt of water for up to 645km in desert terrain without external support. Thanks to Extrawheel, my massive water and food load is distributed over 3 fatty Endomorph tyres for maximum floatation. Only the Extrawheel design permits such encumbered movement in such inhospitable terrain.
